Lou Barlow-2015 on Tour with Primus

Dinosaur Jr’s own J. Mascis, lead singer and master guitarist, is seen as the father of some of the most revolutionary live guitar effects and peddle work known in alternative music today. The band has stayed true to their grunge rock roots, while experimenting with instrumental arrangements and cult classic lyrics. Their shows infuse the crowd with a trance-like vibe of constant rolling energy. Dinosaur Jr. returned to their original member line up in 2005. The result has brought them considerable success, a touring demand, and new studio releases. Dinosaur Jr’s most recent, and 11th studio album “Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not” hit the streets in August of 2016. The record has introduced the band’s energy to a new generation of indie and folk listeners, all the while staying true to their original sound.

If you have never seen Dinosaur Jr. live this show is a “must see event.” If you have seen them before, then you know what we’re talking about. Dinosaur Jr. has some of the best sound equipment and instruments on the market. They know how to use them! Their moody ‘fuck you” skater vibe, stage presence brings with it a nostalgic look into alternative 90s culture. We look forward to the shoeless, Low Barlow playing the bass, while Murph stands up as he plays the drums, and J, Mascis tap dances on his distortion peddles with his eyes closed.
